After nearly 20 years in the software industry, Timm & Donna decided to throw away their winter coats and move to the tropics! In January of 2013, on a scouting trip, they landed on Ambergris Caye and fell in love. In November of that same year they spent 5 days in San Pedro. In that time, they started a business, found a location, built their menu and hired staff. They opened their café in 2014.

FROM COCONUT DRIVE TO BRAHMA BLUE

Coconut Cafe was first located on Coconut Drive, across from Ramon’s Village and instantly became an island favorite. In 2015, we moved to the beach at Exotic Caye Beach Resort, next to Crazy Canucks and moved up in the TripAdvisor ranking to #6 out of 168 restaurants on Ambergris Caye. In the summer of 2018, the Coconut Cafe found its permanent home at Brahma Blue Resort, growing into a full service restaurant, that offers a bar, resort services and unique, memorable events and experiences.
